How do you feel about this display of Dolly’s remains? Dolly was a Finn-Dorset sheep and the first mammal that was cloned from an adult somatic cell. She was born on July 5th, 1996 and died on February 14th, 2003. She was cloned by associates of the Roslin Institute in Scotland. Dolly spent her life at the Roslin Institute and gave birth to multiple lambs. She was euthanized at the age of six years due to a progressive lung disease.
